Meet Vaishali, our newest Product Designer

Meet our latest, super creative and dedicated addition to our team — Vaishali.

Vaishali has one of those non-traditional routes to a career in Product Designing. She is an architect by education and did a handful of project too! That's right, we have an architect designing your internal YouTube. Pretty early into her career in architecture, she found her calling in designing software products. She quickly navigated her way around,

"When I started interacting with the team at Spiti, I liked how the lean team had a structured process and took design seriously. Good design is a crucial part of how they go about building. This was very important to me."

Setting the direction of the Design team within Spiti is one of her primary reponsibilities. Somebody who has the skill, the drive, the ambition, and the humility — sums up who she is. Learning about how design influences user behaviour and by extension the larger buisness goals is something she has been trying to balance while empathising with users.

"I really believe people thrive better when challenges are thrown at them. I liked my responsibilities here and every day I face new challenges."

When she is not working hard to make Spiti a beautiful experience, she paints and drowns herself in stories. When we work on how videos influence people's every day life, her passion and knowledge about the art of making movies come in handy. A strong inclination towards archeology, a movie buff, an avid learner, a curious designer, and a poetry lover. The list goes on.
