Public playlists on Spiti

Any playlist you create on Spiti can be made a public playlist, accessible to anyone with the public link. Kind of like a YouTube unlisted link, but in this case, you're making a playlist public. When you make a playlist public, all the videos in the playlist are also made public automatically.

How to make your playlist public

We actively strive to make our designs minimal. Keeping this in mind, we introduced a share button on the playlist page.

  • On a playlist that you want to make public, click on the share button (as shown below).
  • Toggle on to make the current playlist public.
  • Copy the public link, and share.

Every public playlist has a unique URL that you can share via emails, messages, social media, and other channels.

When you change the visibility of a playlist to 'Public', an indicative tag will appear next to the playlist name. The tag is to make sure that anyone from your team visiting the playlist is aware that the playlist is visible to folks outside your company.

How people see your public playlist

When your Spiti playlist is made public, anyone with the link can view its contents.

  • Only that playlist and its contents are visible. No breadcrumbs, no details about other playlists, and no other details of your workspace will be available to the viewer.

  • Currently, internal comments will not be visible when you share your playlist publicly.

  • Anyone with access to your public link can view and share with the link.
